Q: What are acceptable proofs of residence?
A: Any TWO of the following will meet the residency requirements:
Q: Is a parent’s signature required to submit forms?
A: Yes, the signature of a parent or legal guardian is required when forms are submitted in order to complete the registration process. It will be necessary for you to print your forms to complete and sign. They can then be faxed, mailed or scanned/emailed to Ecademy for approval.
Q: Is my enrollment information kept confidential?
A: Yes. All information provided by families is confidential, unless subpoenaed by a court. Information will not be sold or otherwise used for any marketing or research programs.
Q: Are any application fees required to enroll?
A: As a California public school, there are no fees required to enroll students in Ecademy, and school is completely tuition-free.
Q: Under what conditions can an application be denied?
A: Every situation is different and will be reviewed by Ecademy's Executive Director in accordance with California education requirements. Situations that could result in the denial of an application could include a history of poor attendance or expulsion from previous school.
Q: How will we be contacted to schedule a personal meeting?
A: A member of our staff will contact families via phone and/or email as provided on the enrollment form.
Q: What if I cannot attend an orientation meeting?
A: Please contact Ecademy to arrange a time when we can conduct a meeting via phone or internet. Web-based orientation meetings will also be archived and viewable online at any time.
